8x8 Gallery // 365 Project: Week 18

I've committed to a photo-a-day project for 2015. I may not always post them to Facebook or Instagram, but they'll be collected and archived here on the blog and I plan to print them all out. It's fun to see how the year unfolds. Here's week 18:

120: Warmth

121: NFL Draft Town in Chicago's Grant Park

122: Saturday Night Special at Springbrook Prairie

123: Spring Blooms

124: Put a bow on it. (Light fixture at CiNe in Hinsdale)

125: My favorite tree at the Morton Arboretum

126: Branch out

8x8 Gallery // 365 Project: Week 17

I've committed to a photo-a-day project this year. Three hundred sixty five photos. Every single day. No latergrams (what we call photos taken more than a day earlier in the Instagram world). The project was inspired by Myk Little, one of several photographer friends I've made via the Instagram community in Chicago. Here's week 17:

113: #BlueSkyBlooms

114: Reflections. This was the last photo I took with my Samsung Galaxy S4!

Missing a photo -- #115 is a shot of my shiny new iPhone6, shot with my Nikon.
116: Sunshine (one of the first shots with my new iPhone6!)
117: Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. :John Muir
118: Tongue Out Tuesday

119: Love the work from outside the house season!

8x8 Gallery // 365 Project: Week 16

Catching up on my photo a day project. I've been keeping up with the photos, but have not been posting them on the blog lately! Time to remedy that. Here's week 16 of 52.

106: Happy hour: drinks at El Tapeo

107: The Morton Arboretum is a bonanza of flowers and green right now. The woods are carpeted with tiny flowers, the daffodils are peaking, and the trees are gorgeous. Take your allergy meds & go explore!

108: Chasing light with Baxter at Springbrook Prairie Preserve

109: Raindrops

110: Rainy Day Distractions

111: Tongue Out Tuesday

112: Happy Earth Day!
